Control and Protection Switchgear
Overview
SSKBO/F is a special fire-fighting product developed on the basis of the basic model to adapt to the needs of modern fire protection systems. This product does not trip when the protected circuit fails (except for short circuits), but only provides a pair of passive fire alarm touch points for users to choose to install alarm devices or their computer devices (such as intermediate relays)
Characteristics and main parameters
The fire control and protection switchgear adopts a new design concept, which is achieved by a dedicated fire control controller and other modules to achieve the unique function of 'no tripping in case of faults'
SSKBO/F fire control and protection switch is a multifunctional fire protection device that integrates low-voltage electrical products such as fuses, circuit breakers, contactors, starters, isolators, thermal relays, overload (or overcurrent, phase failure) protection relays, motor comprehensive protectors, intelligent residual current circuit breakers (relays), etc. It has the characteristics of remote control and local control, automatic and manual control, panel indication, fault inquiry, and flexible settings. Its maximum rated current is 125A and the maximum breaking capacity is 80KA, achieving the requirements of 'only alarm, no trip' and 'alarm and trip during short circuit' in the fire protection system when overloaded or overcurrent occurs
Purpose
SSKBO/F fire protection control and protection switchgear is mainly used in fire protection systems with AC 50HZ (60HZ), rated voltage up to 690V, and rated current up to 0.4 to 125A. It can be connected and carry current under normal conditions, including specified ground overload and overcurrent conditions, achieving 'only alarm without tripping'. And it can connect, carry and disconnect current under abnormal conditions (such as short-circuit current), achieving the unique function of 'both alarm and trip'
Application Description
Sudden power outages during actual operation will result in greater motor loads than overload losses, and overload protection should not be installed. These loads include fire hydrant pumps, sprinkler pumps, smoke exhaust fans, etc. If overload and other protective devices are installed, when a fire occurs, the overload and other protective devices will cause the product to operate within the set time, and the fire-fighting equipment will not be able to operate normally, delaying the timing of fire extinguishing, and the losses may be even more severe. If overload protection devices are not installed, the fault will expand and cause irreversible losses. So SSKBO/F is equipped with overload protection devices. Through a special linkage mechanism, when a fire occurs, overload and other protection functions act on passive alarm signal contacts within a set time, reminding the fire control room duty personnel to check, reduce the fault until it is eliminated
The SSKBO/F fire control and protection switch device is equipped with digital dedicated fire control and other functional modules to achieve a unique function of only alarming and not tripping in case of faults. When the protected circuit experiences overload or overcurrent (except for short circuit faults), the SSKBO/F fire control and protection switch device displays a code on the panel, and a pair of passive fire alarm contacts 95 and 98 (basic type is passive overload alarm touch point) close and output
Precautions
During normal operation, the knobs on the panel can be used to directly control the connection and disconnection of the main circuit on site< When overload, overcurrent, phase loss, three-phase imbalance and other faults occur, the 95,98 passive fire alarm touch points close, connect external alarms or other devices, and remind the duty personnel to repair the faulty line. The SSKBO/F product operating mechanism knob remains in the closed position and does not trip, and the main circuit continues to open. At this time, the main circuit can be disconnected by the external stop button or the knob on the panel. After the fault is eliminated, it must be reconnected or reset
When a short circuit occurs in the SSKBO/F product, the 05 and 08 contacts emit an alarm signal, the operating mechanism is in the tripped position, and the main circuit is disconnected. After troubleshooting the short circuit, it must be reconnected or reset
Special reminder: In the event of a malfunction in the wiring of fire protection products, the passive touch point 95.98 of the fire protection system will close, connecting the external alarm circuit. To release the alarm signal, turn the knob to the disconnected position or cut off the power through the external stop button. If continued to use, turn it back to the connected position
